Gosford Family Worship
Our Sunday 10am Family service is an inclusive and informal style of worship aimed at people of all ages, especially families.
Our weekly worship includes the breaking open of God's Word (the bible) and the breaking of bread (Holy Communion). This is done in a less formal manner, but includes some of the traditions that make us an Anglican Community.
Our music is led by a worship band and includes a mixture of well known traditional hymns (played on contemporary instruments) and more up beat songs from the last decade. Our band includes people of all ages and musical experience.
A children's program (JC Kids) also runs during the service on the first, second and third Sundays of each month. The children's program is multi-aged and is open to Toddlers through to Primary School aged children. This allows us to all learn at different levels. The service is always followed by a good cuppa and plenty of food.
On Fourth Sundays we have a special time of worship with all ages together. We try and be a little more creative on these Sundays.
When a fifth Sunday takes place we take time out of our normal worship pattern to do something different together. Sometimes we have undertaken an act of service for our community, such as planting trees, or we take some time to have brunch together and get to know each other a little more.
