Rediscovering Mission

This course is designed to inform the participants about the changing culture of today’s society and the responses needed to engage in mission in meaningful and relevant ways. It won’t equip people to go out and start fresh expressions, but it will challenge people’s thinking and help to change their mindset. 

The overall aim of this course is to give people a fresh vision of mission and how we might reshape the church in the light of our ever-changing modern culture.

 

This course is essential for the future of our parish.

Wednesday 18 April at 1.30pm at Christ Church, with afternoon tea Bev Benson’s Fashionwear on behalf of the Gosford Fundraising Comittee of the Children’s Medical Research Institute.

Admission $10.

Ecumenical TRIVIA NIGHT

Friday 20th April at St. Patrick’s new Hall 7pm with questions starting at 7.30pm

Entry $5 per person for disaster relief Maximum of 6 per table – bring nibbles and refreshments if desired. Please wear name badges. Light supper included

St John’s have received an invitation from All Saints The Entrance to their first function of 2012, on Friday 13 April at the Church Hall, 11.30am for 12.00.
