Gosford Family Worship

in Worshipping

Our Sunday 10am Family service is an inclusive and informal style of worship aimed at people of all ages, especially families.

Our weekly worship includes the breaking open of God's Word (the bible) and the breaking of bread (Holy Communion). This is done in a less formal manner, but includes some of the traditions that make us an Anglican Community.

Our music is led by a worship band and includes a mixture of well known traditional hymns (played on contemporary instruments) and more up beat songs from the last decade. Our band includes people of all ages and musical experience.

A children's program (JC Kids) also runs during the service on the first, second and third Sundays of each month. The children's program is multi-aged and is open to Toddlers through to Primary School aged children. This allows us to all learn at different levels.  The service is always followed by a good cuppa and plenty of food.

Gosford Traditional Worship

in Worshipping

Come and join a community who worship through time honoured rituals and traditions. Holy Scripture and Holy Communion are the core of our liturgical practice.

Worship takes place:

Saturday 6:00pm - Holy Communion in Christ Church

This vigil service is short and meditative.  While there is no music, there are plenty of opportunities to reflect upon the bible and to participate in Holy Communion with one another.

Sunday 8:00am - Holy Communion in Christ Church

This service follows the pattern of worship set out in A Prayer Book for Australia and includes traditional hymns, organ music, a Sermon and Holy Communion.  It is followed by a great morning tea.
